On offer, one of the world’s best examples of Alfa Romeo’s famous competition saloon. The 1964 Alfa Romeo Giulia TI Super.
Restored to the highest standards. Very few survived of only 501 made. This TI Super is better than new with all authentic and unique details!

Original owners’ manual comes with the car (in as new condition)
Water blasted (I)
Completely professionally refurbished, into the smallest details
Replacement of left front wing by original new old stock wing (due to poor fit)
Replacement of two floor panels and sills, best quality materials
Reinforcements of front suspension attachments to inner wheel wells as already fitted (Autodelta system). This was restored to new condition
Meticulous correction of door hinges, seams and panel fit
Painted in original ‘Bianco Spino’ and polished
Final assembly coachwork (italy)
The very best quality, by same specialized company in Italy: correct steel (no INOX) original TI Super bumpers, TI Super grille, badges, small trim parts, strips etcetera. The best job and better than factory new.
All done in Italy. Complete refurbishing. Original seats, original bench in the rear. Red vinyl with light grey wool as to original (original upholstery was present under ugly red vinyl). Floor covered in dark grey vinyl, as to original and similar to GTA 1600 floor finish. New made door panels and leather straps (the originals were completely worn out). Original off-white vinyl ceiling material.
Mechanical components of chassis, suspension, brakes, steering etc.
Full restoration into the smallest details. Every bolt and nut was removed, inspected or replaced by original (new) materials.
All essential parts were zinc plated or painted. Light weight drilled front suspension components (Autodelta modification). Adjustable front suspension arms GTA type. Special springs (new), heavier 29 mm but correct front roll bar. All four brakes were completely restored. New discs and Dunlop calipers. New competition gas filled shock absorbers.
Rear axle restoration with special ring and pinion ( 9x43 ) and latest generation road/rally`/competition limited slip differential.
Restoration/replacement of hub bearings, all brake lines and hoses. New worm and roll fitted to Burman steering box.
All new steering tie rod ends. New original Bonaldi brake booster (as per original). New master brake pump. Etcetera.
Original magnesium Campagnolo 5” TI Super wheels with hub caps. No cracks! Campagnolo spare wheel, identical type, 4,5”.
Engine and cooling system:
No effort was spared to create the very best engine for this car . Block was checked for leaks, all cylinder block planes finely corrected, main gallery was drilled and corrected. Oversize liners with specially made coated pistons by JE. Special order Carillo I-Beam connecting rods. CARR heavy duty con rod bolts. New valves made to size. New, specially treated, valve spring buckets. Hollow (drilled) sports cams (Alfaholics) type P0/8 and PO/9 for fast road/rally use. Alloy crankshaft pulley. Original deep magnesium sump. Windage tray Ultimate (Spuell). Original magnesium valve cover. Weber 45 DCOE14, restored, now in brand-new condition. Magnesium original intake manifold with detailed steel filter canister. Original reworked 45 mm inlet manifold for TI Super. Sachs competition clutch set, diaphragm type, lightened. Clutch plate made to order by F&S.
Crankshaft and rods fully balanced. Combustion chambers capacity identical. C.r.: 10,5 : 1.
All electric components (starter motor, dynamo etc) have been rebuilt.
Rebuilt original radiator with slightly expanded capacity (1cm thicker block).
GTA gearbox with magnesium bell housing (original). No cracks, in as new condition. Short 5th gear set. The gearbox was inspected and closed as it did not need any work. In as new condition. Perfect synchromesh on all gears. New oil seals.
A 10.000 rpm driveshaft specially made by Alfaholics was chosen to cope with high revs and the powerful engine.
A new Facet Red top electric pump was fitted. The tank is a factory original 90 ltr. TI Super race tank with original quick filler cap fitted, just under the luggage boot lid (no replicated parts).
All lights: headlights, direction indicators, tail lights etc. were replaced by original new old stock parts. All dashboard instruments were restored to new condition. The original wire harness was removed, thoroughly cleaned, restored where necessary and reinstalled! Same to the fuse box and many other minor electric components of the dashboard layout.
All body trim was matched, polished, chrome plated by the very best specialist in Italy. New original door handles inside and out. The period original steering wheel lock with key is in working order.
Rubber parts/seals of coachwork:
All were replaced by new parts/seals.
Total weight in running order with trim: only 870 kg
Speed: in 5th gear approx. 30 km/1000 rpm.
Disassembly, water blasting, metalwork: 2015
Interior work, fitting into the car. Completion of work : January 2016
Assembly of last bodywork components and body trim: February 2016
Assembly and tuning of engine 2016
Installation of engine: summer 2016
Total restoration completed and first testing: August 2017
On 27.9.17 the car has 31 km on the odometer.
