We have on offer a very rare and original 1964 Abarth 850 TC Nürburgring with extensive documented period racing history. Car is about ready for the historic season 2021.
The chassis number is *1876887*4490*: the car carried Italian license plate number BS 165228 (Brescia). History known, including numerous historic black and white photos in period racing and hill climbs. Among the conquered famous tracks and hill climbs are Monza and Trento-Bondone etc.
It was raced by Francesco Franzoni “Leutel”, Giovanni Parecchini, Arnaldo Pieraccini, Nicola Ciniero and Mauro Borella. Ownership history known. The car was part of the Scuderia Brescia racing team in Italy (well-known race team).
We have counted approximately 19 major races and hill climbs in period (1965-1969) and six recent historic races, including the Nürburgring and Goodwood.
At the Nürburgring the car was clocked at an amazing 190 km/h, taking home a class win in 2009.
F1 Pilot Arturo Merzario raced this Abarth at Goodwood Revival in 2011. It has always been maintained and race prepared by well-known and experienced Abarth tuners. The car is in very good and original condition, no damages, no rust.




Next to the famous Abarth tuning components it features the ultrarare 5-speed Abarth competition gearbox and unique Jaeger gauges.
An ideal and exciting car for anyone with historic racing, hill climbing or club meetings in the ‘real spirit’ in mind. This car is a piece of automotive (Abarth) history!
An update of the present FIA race passport is necessary.
We can provide the updated FIA papers and maintain, and track support the car in Europe.
The Abarth comes with two extra sets of wheels, period photos, documentation, original Brescia licence plates, exhaust headers and Italian ACI-CSAI race passport.
In addition, the miniature model company Brumm has featured two 1/43 models of this particular Abarth that both come with the car. The models portrait the car in 1965 and 2009 Nürburgring livery.
